Dr O P Gangwani has practised dermatology in Paschim Vihar since 1986, after his MD from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi.
His aim has always been holistic: to treat the skin, and also to give patients emotional and practical support through difficult phases of life. He combines the art of healing with scientific advances as they become proven.
A pioneer of aesthetic dermatology in Delhi
Dr Gangwani was early to bring now-standard procedures into his practice, developing treatment plans for acne, melasma and sun-damaged skin through the 1990s and 2000s:
- Chemical peels in 1994
- Microdermabrasion in 1997
- Laser hair reduction and IPL skin rejuvenation in 2002
- Fractional non-ablative laser for acne scars
With decades of experience, he knows how to separate useful new treatments from flashy ones, and how to adapt them for Indian skin and for each patient's needs and budget.
